If the correct definition for the term "intelligence" is "the ability to acquire and retain information and the ability to use them to solve problems," then the cat is without doubt the most intelligent animal of all those around us.
Try to put an adult cat in a room in which it has never been before and see how it will inspect every corner of this room.
