Some people are great to think and make plans to do what they want, but less well to these ingenious projects. You may have a mental list of all the things you do or think that to take care of you, but you tend to put off later (and later never happens). Thought is great, but thinking is even greater when combined with actions.
Here are some tips on how to get from thinking to take action at:
Make it fun. Playing music at the same time, or make the activity in a game. Making it fun can be particularly useful if the thing you want to do is rather boring. Get someone else to do the job with you, because everything is usually easier when you have company. If there is more than one of you are, you can restore the task in a fun competition.
Make it a challenge. If your job is to weed the garden, for example, you could yourself a point for each square that you are ready, and try to collect as many points as possible. Compete against yourself and try your personal record in the number of points per hour break!
