Call your creditors or collectors and let them know the situation. Communication is essential. When you do not communicate or pay your bills, collectors think you skipped town, and they will never be a penny. Instead, call them and develop a payment plan, or know why you are late with your payment.
Pay your bills on time. When you called all the accounts of criminals, you pay them on time. Many companies allow you to develop a payment plan. They want their money, so they want to work with you. Respect the agreed timetable.
Leave your credit accounts open, but stop using them. Once you have paid your credit cards or lines of credit, not use them. You do not want to enter the same credit crisis again, but you definitely do not want to close the accounts. Closed accounts tend to lower the credit score. Cut the cards you have, but not close.
Suspend new loans or auto insurance investigations. Do everything possible to eliminate all credit applications. Most surveys of credit you have, the higher your credit score is reduced. A low profile for a few months while you solve your credit problems.
Check credit report errors. You can check your own credit report without a negative rating, for free. Each year, you can check for errors in the report to all three credit no money in my pocket. Searching for any errors that could harm your credit.
